Typically, sellers in Texas pay buyer’s agents up to 3% of the purchase price for these services, but since you’ve done much of the work yourself, Red Pear Realty is able work for you for only 1% of the purchase price. So if the seller offers 3% to us, you’ll get a rebate of 2% of the purchase price! If the seller offers less or more than 3%, you’ll keep the corresponding difference. Your rebate can be taken as a reduction in purchase price or cash at closing for your closing costs.
